Guy Browning

Guy Browning is a professional idea generator and humorous writer. After reading History at Oxford, Guy started working life as an advertising copywriter at Darcy Masius Benton and Bowles working on TV and press campaigns for large accounts such as Mars, Procter & Gamble and Texaco.

He then went on to be Creative Director of The Added Value Company, Europe's largest marketing agency. In this capacity he led New Product Generation projects for such clients as Walkers, WHSmith, Toyota and British Airways.

He set up his own company Smokehouse in 1997, an agency specialising in idea generation. Smokehouse has been the secret ingredient in many of today's well-known products and services. Guy Browning is a regular speaker on the use of creativity in business and the practical techniques for delivering it.

After work, Guy Browning is one of Britain's top humorous writers. His How To column in The Guardian brings heavyweight journalistic insight into topics as diverse as How to Sulk and How to Wiggle. He is a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio 4 and writes 'Weak at the Top' starring Alexander Armstrong. He is also author of a wide range of humour and business books with readers often struggling to tell the difference.

    Steffan Aquarone

    Steffan Aquarone is a young entrepreneur and film producer. An ardent facilitator, Steff's passion for 'making things happen' is guided by his strong Quaker ethics.

    As founding director of Fullrange Steff is involved in a growing 4K post-production facility as well as high-end corporate production. He is a trustee of 100 year-old Cadbury children's charity BAYC.

    Steff has Executive Produced more than twenty big-budget corporate films for high-profile brands including Land Rover, Vodafone, Massey Ferguson and American Express. He has produced three feature-length films and one short film. Steff has recent experience in raising investment and financial planning and has lectured, given keynote speeches and radio interviews throughout his travels.

    Steff graduated from the University of Warwick with a BA (Hons) in 2006. It is his ambition is to contribute to the value of culture and art, whilst constantly responding to social change - an aim furthered greatly by his fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts which he was awarded in 2007.
